Spring Summer 2018 Collection is inspired by the Italian art critic and curator Lea Vergine, famous for her studies of contemporary art, especially of kinetic art.
The collection focuses on the evolution – movement of her visual patterns and it’s inspired as well by the creations of Lea’s husband, Enzo Mari.
Twisted yarns, coloured tulle combined with refined linen, details in paillettes, lurex or rafia and woven fabrics create shapes that revoke these patterns.
Aglaia, one of the new turban models of the collection, combine in its shapes linen and woven fabrics with rafia or lurex details.
The triangle returns to the collection . This particular hat has a lengthened shape and can be modelled as you prefer, creating different shapes in different light fabrics.
There are two new models completely different in their shapes.
The first one, Antea, is rounded and characterised by graceful lines, while the second model, Dalia, is extremely simple and pierced to the sides in order to insert any fabric and wear it as you prefer, even as a pareo.
Baseball cap, in cotton, is now part of the collection and it’s available with the embroidery of the logo revisited in a more street style.
The knitted turban returns to the collection too. Here cotton bands combined with lamé fibres produce a bright and coloured effect. Fluorescent ribbons wrap around pailletes details, creating funny and fluffy yarns.
Classic models are certainly present in the collection. The turban Elisabeth, cornerstone of the collection, is available in simple fabrics and colours as white, black and grey linen, which come from the man shirt world.
The accessorizes are totally handmade in Italy, where tradition and innovation of fabrics come together.
